Philip Wakelam

The work of internationally exhibited artist Philip Wakelam continues to attract the attention of a growing number of collectors worldwide.
His work has been exhibited across Europe and the Americas - in London’s Cleveland Street and Rome’s Piazza del Popolo. Two of Argentina’s premier art venues “La Braque Galeria de Arte” and “La Dama de Bollini” both in Buenos Aires, have also exhibited Philips work.   His paintings have recently caught the interest of art establishments in New York.

After leaving school Philip continued further education at Birmingham University studying Design and Engraving with the intention of joining his Father in the family jewellery business. But went instead to join a community of Artists living in Worcester. He had always been a keen artist and he went on to exhibit paintings throughout the U.K. With his first solo exhibition in 2002 at Numberninethegallery in Birmingham,followed by “CARATUS III” At Gallery 94 in Londons Cleveland Street. He also had a exhibition within the Odean Theatre Group and was connected with promoting British Art at Aston University involving Art Students from Germany. With an Album cover for one recording Company. He now exhibits thoughout Europe and South America to an ever growing audiance..
